A dental implant has two parts: the implant itself, a small post that sits in the jawbone, and the restoration on top, the crown, bridge or denture you see and chew with. Once the implant has healed, Dr. Riojas-Ozturk restores it.
Implant restoration means designing and fitting a custom crown, bridge or denture that attaches to your implant, matched to the shape and shade of your natural teeth. The aim is a tooth that looks natural and lets you chew and speak comfortably.
If you are missing a tooth and do not yet have an implant, we can talk through your options at an appointment, including a dental bridge or dentures, and refer you for the surgical step if an implant is a good fit for you.
